Inner Healing

So you look great on the outside but does this reflect how you feel on the inside? What are the usual elements that contribute to this:

* Lack of self worth
*Feeling incomplete
*Insecurities
*Lack of Confidence
*Sadness

As women we have already been branded to either be empowered or to be weak and both these descriptions hardly summarise us in our completeness. Individuality is lost when it comes to summing up a woman. What happened to any middle ground?!!

Where can self assurance be rooted from, and even if we have it Wednesday afternoon are we guaranteed to keep hold of it till the following week, I'm not so sure. Working through my own personal development has produced a number of outlets and experiences that I would love to share...after all its better to share and build up than to break down;

*Affirmations: Use affirmations and turn them into to habits. Statistically if you do or say something everyday (a few times a day) for more than six weeks your more likely to hold on to that 'thing' and keep it going as a habit and way of life. Habits are often seen in a negative light but remove this from your mind on this occasion, we should be building great habits in life to best improve ourselves.

If you affirm (speak out) on something each day the mind works to develop a recall of ownership on that habit. 'I am a smart and fulfilling individual with unique talents'. Speaking such profound words daily gives amazing results, should you not already see yourself as unique and smart?, well we cant go looking back now....lets move forward with this.

Speaking affirmations as much as you can makes your mind slow down its thought process; giving you a chance to think and as a result your spoken word becomes clear, confident, smart and significant in its content. You begin to speak and BELIEVE!

With shoes like this, the outfit should be simple with a dash of shimmer to compliment....watch this space for a range of shoes as glam as this to party through till the new year.

Black Rose Wardrobe.com

So it's common knowledge that women, regardless of age, race, size or height come under a bank full of demands in our everyday life. Most of the time its like your undergoing a military operation and its no fun!! We must recognise that this is not what was intended for us....

Okay so there is nothing in this post that will give you the key in winning your partner into helping out more or even taking the initiative to make the decisions (now that is miracle...) but I can say this; there is something in trusting in a second and even third opinion in life. What happened to community??..lol. Black Rose Wardrobe is a style consultancy service that supports women through their journey by understanding, communicating and getting the best style out of each and ever rose. Its a no brainer!!

The service is run by myself and my sister; like all women we hardly had time to put the company together but it was becoming like a broken record to hear how many women just didn't feel confident in what they wore. Our first client who is based in Clapham gave us a run for our money; she was very sure about what she did and DID NOT like and we worked around this....by the end of the service we had her beaming with smiles in outfits she would never have touched with a bargepole.

Here are some pics...

The first image was at a later date when we did a whole wardrobe re-jig - she was very anxious at first (as we all are about our private space) but after a few meet ups, style guides and more she was at ease which pleased us no end. The last three are from a shopping trip, the focus for this trip was for work wear.

The best testimony she gave us was that 'we understood what she wanted but used that to explore more options that she would not have dared'.....All smiles!!!

Health

What goes in must come out...or not!!

We are all aware of that age old saying 'a moment on the hips is a life time on the hips..' I'm not so sure I agree though. I'm learning as I stride through my thirties (very carefully) that taking the time to indulge once in a while does not have to cost you heavily. Its not an easy road but think of it like this:

* who is as sweet as you...no one..lol
* weekends can be split in two, first half for indulging and the second for burning that stuff off.
*The most important feeling is the one that lifts you from your bed every morning - I know in winter its like dragging a ten stone ball out of bed but with the right foods it can be easier than you think.

It would be nice to breakdown our food intake so we look more like this;
 as we embark onto 2015 and embrace all that the media have to throw at us about looking great and feeling good. There are a few women who look amazing but don't feel it, as they say it pays to look good. How can we make a change for the better but also FEEL like we are casually strutting down our high street in a comfy onezie!! Here it goes:

*Pay attention to the material in a garment; there are so many fantastic tops that flatter us no-end with that great jersey feel. It can contour our shape but also relieve the areas that just can't be held in for too long.....especially after that strawberry tart, woops!!

Fabrics can be our best friend but as pointed out earlier treating your body like a temple is the only way you can be sure to look absolutely fabulous.

*Get down to your local one pound shop and invest in a jug you can keep at work on your desk or a flask that fits into your bag. Asda do all shapes and sizes. Ensuring that you drink at least a litre a day will mean less time hunting for that cream that will never really make your skin as firm as they promise.

*Vitamins are also great; make sure you get all the right ones you need, click here for a site that breaks them all down so its not like your lunch becomes a feast of pills.
